Q Acoustic 5050

The Q Acoustics 5050 is a flagship floorstanding speaker that delivers an exceptional audio experience with advanced engineering and sophisticated design. Featuring dual 150 mm (6-inch) mid/bass drivers with the innovative C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ technology, these speakers provide smoother high-frequency integration with the tweeter and superior bass dynamics. The 25 mm (1-inch) treble unit is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated to reduce distortion and cabinet resonance for clear, detailed sound reproduction.

The 5050s offer a robust power handling range of 25 to 150 watts and come in elegant finishes including Satin Black, Satin White, Santos Rosewood, and Holme Oak. Standing over 1 meter tall and weighing 21.6 kg each, they make a stunning addition to any high-fidelity listening room.

The Q Acoustics 3050i is a striking floorstanding speaker designed to deliver outstanding sonic performance by leveraging design principles from Q Acoustics’ Concept 500 series. It features advanced build technologies including Point-to-Point (P2P™) bracing to reduce cabinet resonance for clearer sound and a more accurate soundstage, plus Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer (HPE™) technology to eliminate sympathetic resonance within the enclosure.

The internal structure of the Q 3050i has been designed to incorporate
what we have learned about minimising unwanted resonances using
Helmholtz Pressure Equalisation (HPE™). This greatly improves the
linearity of the bass performance while the cabinet uses Point-to-Point
(P2P™) bracing techniques to reduce intrusive cabinet vibrations.
Both technologies come from our experience with Concept Series
speaker developments.

Concept 50 Floorstanding Speaker

• Gelcore™ cabinet construction reduces higher frequency cabinet noise.
• P2P™ (Point to Point™) internal bracing stiffens the cabinet to minimise lower frequency vibrations.
• Ground-up mid/bass and tweeter driver design for increased power handling.
• Crossover design is mounted on the isolation base, to minimise any microphonic pick up and away from electro-magnetic fields radiated by the drive units.
